SMS Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text message communications sent by or on behalf of Coker Service, Inc. (“Coker Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By opting in to receive text messages from Coker Service, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Coker Service SMS Program

Coker Service uses SMS and MMS text messaging to communicate with customers, prospective customers, vendors, and other individuals regarding our commercial food equipment service, repair, maintenance, parts, equipment, and related business activities.

Messages may be sent using Coker Service business telephone numbers, including numbers operated through Voice over Internet Protocol (“VoIP”), cloud-based telephone systems, and other business communications platforms.

2. Types of Messages You May Receive

Depending upon your relationship and interactions with Coker Service, text messages may include:

  • Service appointment confirmations
  • Technician dispatch notifications
  • Technician arrival or estimated arrival information
  • Scheduling and rescheduling communications
  • Service call and work order updates
  • Questions concerning equipment or service requests
  • Repair status updates
  • Parts availability and ordering information
  • Estimate and quote notifications
  • Customer service communications
  • Billing or account-related communications
  • Follow-up communications regarding completed service
  • Other communications directly related to products or services you have requested from Coker Service

Coker Service may offer additional text messaging programs in the future. Any additional consent requirements applicable to those programs will be presented when you enroll.

3. Consent to Receive Text Messages

You may opt in to receive text messages from Coker Service through methods we make available, which may include website forms, service request forms, account forms, written agreements, verbal consent, or other methods that clearly disclose that you are agreeing to receive text messages.

By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages, you authorize Coker Service to send SMS or MMS messages to the telephone number you provided.

Your consent applies to communications from Coker Service for the purposes disclosed when your consent is obtained.

Consent to receive SMS or MMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Coker Service.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the telephone number you provide or that you are otherwise authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.

If your mobile telephone number changes or is reassigned, you agree to notify Coker Service or opt out before discontinuing use of that number.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies.

The number and frequency of messages you receive will depend upon your interactions with Coker Service, including the number of service calls, appointments, work orders, parts orders, estimates, or other matters associated with your account.

Some service events may result in multiple messages as a service call progresses through scheduling, dispatch, technician arrival, repair, parts ordering, completion, and follow-up.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Coker Service does not charge a separate fee for participating in our SMS messaging program; however, your wireless carrier may charge you for sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages according to your wireless service plan.

Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions regarding your messaging or data plan.

6. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of Coker Service text messages at any time by replying STOP to a text message from Coker Service.

We will process your request and may send you one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

After your opt-out request has been processed, you will no longer receive text messages covered by that messaging program unless you subsequently provide consent to receive them again.

Coker Service will also make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests communicated through other reasonable means.

If you have multiple Coker Service messaging conversations or have consented to separate messaging programs, additional action may be necessary to opt out of each program.
